Following circulation of a DEIR for public comment, the County will respond to comments received by preparing the Final EIR.  There are no public meetings required (see CEQA Guidelines Section 15089(b)) nor planned prior to publication of the Final EIR.  The publication date of the Final EIR is TBD, and is influenced by the number and scope of DEIR comments received.

After publication of the Final EIR, the project will be scheduled for a public hearing before the County of Monterey Planning Commission.  The Planning Commission will consider/certify the environmental documents and make a decision regarding the project.  Unless appealed, the project does not have to go before the Board of Supervisors.
